1. Ett plagg är något som man klär sig i.
Plagg har ingen könstillhörighet innan de kommer i kontakt med människor. En del människor bryter mot könsrollerna och bär kläder som inte hör till deras kön enligt samhällets begränsningar. Plagg har som syfte att dölja och blotta oss på samma gång. Det finns kläder som skyddar oss som en trenchcoat skyddar mot regn, kläder kan ange klasstillhörighet t.ex. couture-klänningar. Kläder kan kräva makt exempelvis då någon bär kostym. Ett plagg kan användas som uttrycksmedel och ge kreativt utrymme till de som har medvetenhet att välja vad de ska ha på sig.
Ett plagg kan ge den som bär det en sinnesstämning, som en känsla, eftersom det kan få dig att känna dig sexig eller som något från gatan. Som du vet lever vi på 2000-talet och i nuläget har kläder definierats till döden. Svart är färgen och modets uniform. Svart är det nya svarta?
2. Tyget eller metervaran görs till ett plagg med hjälp av stygn. Stygnen kan sys för hand eller med maskin. Ett tyg som ännu inte rörts är därmed inte förkroppsligat. Det har ännu inte förvandlats till det språk som kreatören talar. Tyger utvecklas när man ställer frågan: Vad vill jag bli?
3. Absolut, det finns kulturer i världen som sveper in sig i olika slags tyg, inklusive den obehandlade textilen som vi kallar för naturen.

1. A garment is defined as an item of clothing.
Garments do not have a gender until they are handled by humans. Some humans break gender boundaries and wear clothes that are not for their sex per societies constrictions. Garments are meant to hide and expose us simultaneously, meaning clothing protects us as in a trench coat from rain, clothing can show class status i.e. couture gowns, or clothing can demand power for example, when one wears a suit. A garment is used as a form of expression, allowing creative power to people who have a choice and are conscious in selecting what to wear.
A garment can provide the wearer a mood, as in an emotion, as it can make you feel sexy or it can make you feel like from the street. As you know, we live in the 21st century and at this point in time, clothing has been defined to death. Black is the color and uniform in fashion. Black is the new black?
2. The fabric or yardage, is made into a garment through the use of stitch. The stitch can be made by hand or with a machine. The fabric alone, simply being fabric, has not yet been touched, it is without embodiment, it has yet to be transformed into the language the creator is speaking. Fabric develops when the question of 'what do I want to be' is asked.
3. Absolutely, there are cultures in the world that wrap themselves in various kinds of fabrics including the unprocessed textile called nature.
