Exhibition and workshop at Tensta Konsthall. Fashionplay no. 5 focuses on the issue of what defines a garment, and where the line is drawn between a piece of fabric and a garment. We have put the question to fourteen professionals within the art and fashion worlds, and the answers is published on this website. We will also show two projects by Ingela Nilsson and Åsa Arvidsson, who have both explored the theme in different ways in their collections. Clothing swap with Dress Off Dress On

Fashionplay #5 FASHIONWALK STOCKHOLM Fashionwalk Stockholm presents a new generation of fashioncreators who work in the borderlands between fashion and art. The aim of the exhibition and the walk is to bring to attention those designers and artists who don't work with traditional collections but who rather focus on the artistic process. All this in shape of an installation, avant garde-clothing, sculpture, video, and experiments in form. The exhibition allows the audience to take part of projects that deal with questions surrounding fashion's significance to individuals and society. The relationship between fashion and body, identity, consumption and societal development is shown from personal and analytical perspectives. We hope that this field of fashion will reach a new audience and thereby gain strength as cultural expression. Exhibition at Stationshuset, Norra Bantorget in Stockholm.
